Christina Henry
Christina Henry (born 13 August 1974)[1] is an American novelist working in the horror and dark fantasy genre. "Christina Henry" is a pseudonym of Tina Raffaele, based on her name (Tina), and the names of her husband (Chris) and son (Henry).[2] Henry lives in Chicago with her husband and son.[3] Her Black Wings series (featuring Maddy Black), is a national bestseller.[4] She is also noted for her retelling of classic children's tales, such as the three works in The Chronicles of Alice series (based of the Alice books of Lewis Carroll), Lost Boy (2017) from J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan, and The Girl in Red (2019) based on Little Red Riding Hood. "[5] She has described her writing process as " I don’t think of re-imaginings as different because I’m still writing an original story. Every story has been influenced by other stories, even if those influences aren’t obvious. Storytellers are always building on what came before them."[6]
