Chutani (caste)

Chutani is a vassal tribe of Muslim people which often entitled as name of clan found among the lower caste of Julaha weavers in the Gujarat state[1] and other rehabilitated semi-arid villages, However they are pre-accountably emended among the chutani sept of Khosa tribe of Jadgal.[2]

They use the Gujarati script. The Julaha are non-vegetarian in their food habits and consume bajra and wheat as staple cereals. They have clans (sakh), such as Arbani, Chutani, Dhorajiwala, Dhorolia, Mehetar, Mithwani, Rajbani and Kora.
