Cider (/ˈsdɛər/ sigh-der) is a global online fashion retailer. The company was founded in May 2020, primary aimed at Gen-Z.[1] The website serves and ships to consumers in 100+ countries. [2] Cider’s social media presence has reached over 2 million followers (also known as the #CiderGang), and has accumulated one billion impressions on social media worldwide since launching.

Cider markets itself as ‘Your Closet’s Happy Hour’, derived from the company’s three brand pillars: Joy, Global-Togetherness, and Smart Fashion. The brand is one of the first to introduce online shopping through the idea of ‘Pick A Mood’; enabling customers to shop for products based on how they feel and/or how they want to feel. These ‘moods’ come in a variety of categories — e.g. Feeling Cute, Feeling Sophisticated, Feeling Romantic, Feeling Cool, and many more.

Although the fashion industry is already heavily saturated, Cider prides itself in entering the industry through their smart-fashion approach. Committed to celebrating this approach, the brand only produces a controlled amount of specific styles and products, aiming to eliminate over-production and product waste.

In September 2021, the brand celebrated their one year anniversary on their social media platforms, including Instagram and TikTok. As of present, Cider continues to serve consumers as a globally-minded, social-first, and smart-fashion brand.
