City National Bank (CNB) is a bank based in Charleston, West Virginia that operates bank branches in West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, and Virginia. CNB is held by City Holding Company, a publicly traded company listed on the NASDAQ.
CNB was founded in 1956 in Kanawha City, a neighborhood in Charleston.[1] It was headquartered there until the 1990s, when it moved headquarters to Cross Lanes, West Virginia. Its current CEO is Charles Hageboeck, who has been CEO since 2005.[1] As of 2020, the company has more than 90 branches and 900 employees.[2]
