City of Sound is an experimental/progressive rock group from Minneapolis, Minnesota. They formed in 2006, shortly after the break-up of Morrison's and Merry's previous project, Crashing by Design, and Kindvall's and Dickie's previous project, White Weather.
History
Formed in late 2006, City of Sound quickly put up two demos, “White Summer” and “Satan's Daughter”. The band independently released a debut CD, "L'implosion", in February 2009. The band quickly gained a local following and has been gaining attention with favorable reviews from both Alternative Press and AbsolutePunk.[1] They are currently[when?] working on a new EP that has yet to have a release date.
