City of the Plague God is an upcoming novel about Mesopotamian mythology written by Sarwat Chadda.[1] It is set to be released in January 2021, and is part of the Rick Riordan Presents imprint.
Plot[edit]
The story will follow Sikander Aziz, a Muslim boy who resides in Manhattan. Aziz joins forces with the legendary Gilgamesh to defeat to devious god of plagues before the entirety of Manhattan is demolished.

Release[edit]
City of the Plague God will be released on January 12, 2021 in ebook and hardback format through the Rick Riordan Presents imprint of Disney-Hyperion.[2] An audiobook adaptation will be released simultaneously through Random House's Listening Library.[3]
