Claire Falconer (born Enniskillen, Northern Ireland) is an Irish painter and actor who currently works in Ireland, Italy and United States.

Early life[edit]

Falconer is the daughter of Seamus and Ann Falconer of Enniskillen.[2] She studied at Mount Lourdes[3] where she passed A' Level Art, Spanish and English Literature.[4] She completed a degree in Law with Hispanic Studies at Queen’s University, Belfast.[5] She has lived in Rome, Italy[4] and Los Angeles, California.[2]


Art career[edit]

Falconer won a National RTÉ art competition in October 2001.[6] An exhibition of her work was held at the Abode Gallery in Dublin in 2002.[7]

In 2003, Falconer was commissioned to paint a portrait of Richard Bennett, Headmaster of Portora Royal School, Enniskillen.[4]

Falconer's artworks appear throughout the set of the 2019 film Ordinary Love which was produced by her brother Brian J. Falconer.[8]

At the end of 2020 Falconer launched an eclectic selection of original fine art prints for the first time.[9]

TV Appearances[edit]

In 2010 Falconer featured in an episode of Jackie Fullerton's Jackie’s The Boy; Fullerton travelled to Los Angeles meeting Northern Irish people who had made it in the US.[2][10]

In 2013 Falconer was interviewed by Nicholas Crane in the Enniskillen episode of his series Town; she spoke of why she had returned to the town after living in Hollywood.[11]

Film[edit]

Falconer co-founded Satyricon Pictures in 2009 together with filmmaker Christian Filippella. She starred in and was executive director for Satyricon's 2011 crime comedy film Silver Case.[3][12]
