Clark Shao (September 9, 1983 – October 10, 2016) was a professional fitness trainer from Houston, Texas.[1]
Biography[edit]
Shao was born in Houston, Texas, and first became interested in physical fitness when he was 14 years old. As an adult, he became a bodybuilder/fitness trainer and a personal trainer for Houston celebrities. At one stage Shao was the most subscribed trainer in the world on YouTube with almost 4 million subscribers.[citation needed] He worked in various fitness clubs as a personal trainer in the Houston area, and appeared as a trainer on the NBC TV show "Biggest Loser" in 2006.[citation needed]
He was running his own independent fitness center and in 2008 he became the exclusive trainer of the Houston Rockets Power Dancers.[2]
Death[edit]
On October 10, 2016, Shao died from a motorcycle accident while vacationing in Koh Phangan, Thailand. Shao was killed and his girlfriend injured, in what was reported to be a head-on crash with another vehicle while riding his motorcycle in the rain on a muddy road.[1]
