Guru Mann (born 26 August 1982) is an Indo-American health & fitness coach, nutritionist and entrepreneur.[1]. He started an initiative Mission Fit India in 2010 to make people aware about a healthy life.[2][3].
Mann has received a World Book of Records, London award as one of International Fitness Trainer & Nutrition Specialists highlighting health awareness among people at a global level.[4][5]
Career
Guru started his fitness career in 1997 after completing his schooling. Later, he pursued a Bachelor in Computer Application from Punjab, India. He moved to California, US to study a Bachelor in Biomechanics/Kinesiology and BS Exercise & Sports Science/Nutrition Science from California State University. In 2021, he released his debut song 'Life Is Tough'.[6] Mann has joined the star cast of Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar's upcoming movie Dream Big.[7][8]
Initiatives
Guru Mann is making people aware about fitness and health under the ‘Mission India Fit’ initiative. He also collaborated with Indian music company T-Series (company) for many health and fitness videos. He gives out information on many fitness topics ranging from burning body fat to gaining muscles, free of cost.[9]
Awards
He has been awarded by World Book of Records, London as one of International Fitness Trainer & Nutrition Specialists promoting health awareness among people at a global level. The award was presented by singer Daler Mehndi, the brand ambassador of World Book of Records, London.[10]
