Urdu is most ancient language, and many poets have passed. In Modern Poetry, Classical Poets covered the Social Behaviors better than ancient Poetry, but the creation of ancient poets can’t be forgotten. Nature scenes recorded by ancient poets are reduced, but modern poets covered the Natural Beauty too much by pen. The Era of Classical Poetry started from Muhammad Quli Khan, and after him there are too many names which are shining like stars on the Sky of Urdu Poetry. First Classical Urdu Poetry Book was published of Wali Mohammed Wali. He was born in 1667; he was well known with the name of Wali Dakni. After him Ghalib, Mir Taqi Mir, Mohammad Ibrahim Zauq made Modern Urdu poetry more strong. After the 1947 in Pakistan Faiz Ahmad Faiz polished Modern Poetry with his Revolutionary Ghazal and Nazm. We can’t forget also Noon Meem Rashid, Majeed Amjad, Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi in Modern Urdu Poetry.
