International Clients' Day is an unofficial holiday when companies' owners and managers thank their clients. Client Day is celebrated each year on 19 March.[1] The first Client Day was celebrated in 2010; its authors were Lithuanian[2] and Russian[3] business people. The idea behind Client Day[4] is that, while the world has many memorable days, there is no day dedicated to clients – the most valuable part of any business or organization.[5] In 2020, Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania was voting[6] for Client's day to be added to Lithuanian Memorial days list, where 57 Members of the Parliament voted For, mostly the celebration was supported by Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union Political Group.[7]
Traditionally, on Clients' Day customers are rewarded with discounts, special offers, and all other kinds of gifts. The day is supported by telecommunication companies,[8] banks, retail stores,[9] government organizations,[10] education institution[11] and other businesses in Lithuania and Russia. The popularity and importance of Clients' Day is growing year by year, and more organizations are joining the day.[12]
Song[edit]
Official International Client's day song was composed in 2017. The song is played to bring the celebration mood and make clients smile like never before. Client's day song is used by companies to greet their customers and for preparing video congratulations, flash mobs, or dance shows. Originally the song only had English version,[13] and in 2019 the Song was translated to Lithuanian and Russian languages. The first official video clip Your dreams come Client's day. 19 March was presented in 2019 in order to represent the main holiday idea—to make every client feel special and happy.
