Clint Hames is a former mayor of the City of Chilliwack in British Columbia Canada. He was first elected to the office in 1999 and served three consecutive terms. Before running for mayor, he was a city councillor for three consecutive terms between 1990 and 1999.[1][2][3][4][5][6]

Hames was born in Calgary, Alberta in 1953 to a military family. His family moved to Chilliwack in 1958. He has been active in the local theatre community as an actor and a director, and serves as the president of the Chilliwack Players Guild.[7] Hames was the director of vocational and employment services for the Chilliwack Society for Community Living from 1975 to 1993. In 1993, he founded Hames and Associates Consulting Ltd. He was on the Board of Directors for Canada Lands Company from 2009 to 2018. He was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal for community service in 2003.[8]
