Clint Santiago Dahl is a television and film director, screenwriter and producer of Scandinavian and Mexican descent. He was born in San Bernardino, California but predominately grew up in the Fresno area, later moving to Huntington Beach as a young adult. There in Southern California he became involved in the early formation of North American mixed martial arts culture.[2][3]
After spending some years promoting and managing MMA fighters, Dahl became more active in the video productions revolving around the events themselves. Among other projects, he wrote the 2006 Canadian production entitled, Freedom Fight, which aired nationally during prime time hours on TSN and starred Chuck Liddell. It was the first televised mixed martial arts event of its kind in Canada. Freedom Fight was filmed on location in Ottawa.
