Alovett Brandon-Ikechukwu King[4] (born May 30, 1993)[5], professionally known as Close Cash[6], is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer from Burlington County, NJ. Previously known as Alovett, he released his first EP, Smooth Sailings, in 2012. After taking a hiatus, Cash returned with a new name and the release of his second EP, Neck Of The Woods (Part One), in 2017. After relocating to Philadelphia in 2018, Cash released his first album, 4:08, in 2019 under the Buck Society Records imprint.[7] Cash's sound can be described as dark; implementing hip hop, R&B, pop, and trap elements.[8] Influences include Michael Jackson, Kid Cudi, Kanye West, Travis Scott, and Justin Timberlake.[9]
