CoopMoneys (stylized as CoopMoney$) is an American hip hop singer, songwriter and producer from Austin, Texas, in 2018 CoopMoneys began sharing music Via the music sharing platform SoundCloud, he rose to popularity due to his, self-produced music, as well as his heavy influence in online presense development. He owns and operates his own label, CoopMoney$ Records, distributing all of his own music digitally.
Early life[edit]
CoopMoneys was born in Austin, Texas, the city he grew up in. He became a ward of the state at the age of 13 and was shortly released from foster care after turning age 14. He showed early interest in music production as a child at the age of 14 and has continued to write and produce music ever since. As a teenager, he spent some time in juvenile detention centers and was charged with Agg. Robbery at the age of 17. After graduating high school, he spent some time working in the food industry and more recently has decided to pursue music full-time. His stage name CoopMoney came from his childhood nickname "Coop" and his need for money after withdrawing from college due to a lack of financial assistance.
Career[edit]
In November 2018, he released his self titled EP - "CoopMoney$" and has since made statements on various social media platforms in regards to a new album, however no release date has been set.
