Closed for Storm is a Documentary film by YouTube creator Jake Williams of Bright Sun Films.[1] It focuses on 15 years after Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast and created a lasting monument of the devastation. Six Flags New Orleans is currently sitting abandoned, rotting away in the Louisiana swamp. Closed for Storm explores the past, present, and future, to find out how this incredible theme park became frozen in time and left in an endless void of uncertainty.[2][3][4][5]

The film was officially announced on January 17, 2020 in a video posted by Williams called "My Documentary Announcement."[6] On May 8, 2020, the trailer was released.[7] In July 2020, Williams showed new clips of Closed for Storm on a podcast called Factual America Podcast.[8] The documentary premiered at the New Orleans Film Festival on November 7, 2020.[9] Jake Williams has stated in a Youtube video that the film will be publicly released in July 2021.[10]

Soundtrack

On June 21, 2021, the soundtrack was released on all platforms.[11]
