Closet Cultivation is Incubus’s first recorded music after forming from a Metallica cover band, claiming influences of Primus and Oingo Boingo. Originally released on cassette in 1994. All three songs were on "Side A" of the cassette. The original music was never re-released, however "Speak Free" was later rewritten and re-recorded for their first studio release "Fungus Amongus".
