CloudWork
CloudWork is a web-based system. Customers can select any existing application that they use and then allow access to the app. Then they create a “packaged integration stream” which can be monitored by the users at any time. CloudWork watches for any new activities through the app’s API (Application Programming Interface). Then, CloudWork runs selected tasks in the background in a secure fashion. When CloudWork launches, users can select from more than thirty apps and over 200 existing tasks or “streams”. To summarize, CloudWork connects users’ applications.
Originally, CloudWork was created to simplify automation of business procedures in the cloud for developing companies. Examples of such procedures are repetitive tasks, such as backing up projects in the cloud, note forwarding, and organizing social media campaigns. The CloudWork automates tasks that require working with these applications with each other. This allows for increased productivity. Users now can connect online storage applications, emailing, etc., to avoid repetitive tasks. [1]
