Club N3Rd
Club N3Rd is a recreational student club running out of Mount Royal University's student center, Wyckham house in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Founded in September of 2011 by Dara Def, a cosplay enthusiast, Club N3Rd is Mount Royal's local hangout and activity hub of nerd culture and gaming, catering to the interests of gamers of all kinds(such as tabletop and video gaming) and anime enthusiasts[1] in their weekly meetings, often sponsored/supported by the Student Association of Mount Royal University(SAMRU).
The club caught on rather quickly, getting almost 300 members within a month of its founding[2], and has continued to grow since.
