Clutter Free is a Hong Kong-based professional home-organising and decluttering company that proposes solutions to better sort your space at home or the office.[1] Clutter Free conducted numerous workshops and seminars, one of which was presented in the Russian Culture Festival: Art x Fashion Supreme Show.[2]
History[edit]
Clutter Free is founded by the KonMari Consultant, Marina Voronina.[3]
Inspiration[edit]
Initially inspired by Marie Kondo’s tidying method, Clutter-Free steers away from disposing of items as a means of decluttering, rather preserves items by organizing them.[1] This includes offering advice on the spaces where irregularly-worn items go, and hanging the regularly-worn ones in terms of its colours, transitioning from the lighter to darker shades of a specific colour, as well as its length, starting from the longer to the shorter items, or vice versa.[4] This generates awareness of an individual’s lifestyle and habits, and enhances the aesthetic appearance of the house or office.[1] While it follows the KonMari storage approach, Clutter-Free, too, incorporates the traditional organization method. This entitles clients to choose the sequence and categorization by which their items are sorted. By integrating both the methods, Clutter-Free continues to offer its services, whilst allowing client authority in some aspects of the organization process.[5]
