cmbstd is a Spanish electronic dance music artist.
History
cmbstd is a musical project that started in 2016 when he bought a PO-12 pocket operator drum machine. In 2018 cmbstd switched from a hardware setup to Ableton Live and published his first dance tracks on Soundcloud. "Saturday Morning Fever" was one of such tracks (unreleased), combining elements of tech house and house.[1]
In April 2019 cmbstd released his first track "ALPHAWAVES", a reflection of his first memories playing PC games back in the 80s. Later that year, in October 2019, cmbstd published the very arpeggiated and club-oriented "GATHER" single about his experiences as a weekend warrior in clubs.
cmbstd's motto is "I want to make the world a better place by making people dance together."[2]
