Coffee and Kalaam

Coffee and Kalaam is an independent literary organization based in Kashmir. Founded on 7 July 2019 by Akeel Mohiuddin. The organization focuses on promoting teen literacy and civic engagement, through the writing and performances of spoken word poetry.[1][2] [3] Coffee and Kalaam runs weekly workshops on learning and understanding the basics of poetry.[4][5][6][7]

Coffee and Kalaam also holds state as well as national level literary programs at different locations throughout India.[8][9][10][11] They also run weekly workshops which are open for all students to read, write, and discuss poetic devices.[12][13][14]
