Coláiste Muire is a Roman Catholic secondary school for girls in Ennis, County Clare, Ireland. It was established in 1860 by the Sisters of Mercy and is part of the Catholic Education an Irish Schools Trust.[2]
History[edit]
On 5 September 1860, the Sisters of Mercy opened Coláiste Muire at Arthur's Row, off O’Connell Square in Ennis. The school was transferred it to its present location on College Road in 1941. It accommodated boarders from 1865 to 1984.[3]
