The Colégio Nossa Senhora da Assunção is a Catholic school located in Anadia, Aveiro, Portugal. Initially started as an informal school in 1922, a license was obtained in 1926.[1]
The school started operating under the current name in 1951.
In 2020 the school was ranked first in the district and 5th nationwide.[2]
History[edit]
In 1922 the congregation of Saint Joseph of Cluny was gifted land in Anadia. Following this donation an informal school was started on the premises.
In 1926 an official license was issue enabling the creation of the school initially named Colégio de Nossa Senhora da Paz.
In 1951 the school name was changed to Colégio Nossa Senhora da Assunção.
