Coldhart (real name unknown; often stylized as Cold Hart), is an American rapper, singer and music producer.[1] He is a co-founder of emo-rap collective, GothBoiClique.

Early life[edit]

Coldhart was born on October 4, 1994 in Long Beach, California. He dropped out of high school in the tenth grade and later graduated from a continuation school,[1] and is the oldest of three siblings.

Career[edit]

Coldhart started to produce music when he was 18, under the name "Jayyeah", and eventually became a member of underground rap collective, TeamSESH.[1] He eventually began making music of his own under the alias "Cold Hart Rich Boy", which he later shortened to "Coldhart".[1] He later officially left TeamSESH, due to his style and goals being different than those of the group.[1]

In 2013, Coldhart and Wicca Phase Springs Eternal formed the emo-rap collective that would come to be known as "GothBoiClique". The two had originally collaborated on a song titled "Goth Boi Clique". After recruiting fellow emo-rap artists Horse Head and Mackned, as well as frequent production collaborator Nedarb Nagrom, the group became known as THRAXXHOUSE. After narrowing its members down, the group became officially known as GothBoiClique.[2]
