Collibra is a Belgian data-intelligence software company, founded in June 2008 by Pieter De Leenheer, Stijn Christiaens, Felix Van de Maele and Damien Trog.[1][2] The company spun off from application-oriented research on semantic technology at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, in Brussels, Belgium.[3] In 2015, the founders relocated the company headquarters to New York City. Since then, the company expanded geographically in the U.S. and other countries with office locations in Atlanta, London, Paris, Melbourne, Madrid, and Wroclaw.[4]
