Colors Gujarati (formerly known as ETV Gujarati) is an Indian television channel that primarily broadcasts Gujarati entertainment shows.

History[edit]

Based in Ahmedabad, it was started by Prism TV Pvt. Ltd. It is now part of Viacom18[1] and TV18[2] which are owned by Network18 Group.[3] ETV Gujarati was re-branded under the Colors franchise on 20 April 2015.[4] Colors Gujarati initiated the BIG Gujarati Entertainment Awards for excellence in the world of Gujarati entertainment and also telecasts Gujarati films.

Colors Gujarati Cinema is an Indian pay television movie channel broadcasting in Gujarati language owned by Viacom18. It was launched on 1 June 2019 as India's first and only Gujarati language movie channel.[6][7]
