CompNation is a privately held reseller and manufacturer, a multimillion-dollar, international office and technology supplies company founded on May 22, 2000 by Mark Filaroski, the company's CEO.[1][2] Headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee, CompNation has customers throughout the United States, as well as to 42 other countries with a wide selection of over 1.5 million products.[1] It has over 34 distribution centers throughout North America and also operates in Caribbean, South America, and South Pacific.

CompNation carries its own line of toner compatibles.

On September 8, 2010, CompNation was named a winner of the 2010 Future 50, an annual award from the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.[4][5]

On August 24, 2010 - Inc. Magazine ranks CompNation on the 2010 Inc. 5000 list for their second consecutive year. Inc. 5000 is an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.[6][7][2]

Philanthropy[edit]

August 4, 2010 - CompNation donated 10 brand new Toshiba notebooks and 2 new Hewlett-Packard printers to the YMCA center for local children and teens in creation of the CompNation Y-Fi Lounge.[8]

June 4, 2010 - CompNation is a sponsor of The Chad Welch Memorial Foundation (Team Chad), for cancer patients.[9][10]

September 24, 2009 - CompNation was a Local Corporate Benefactor for the 2009 Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk (Mid South Chapter).[11]
