History

CTC GmbH was founded in 2001 and moved in 2004 from a former repair hall of the Bundeswehr on the premises of the local Airbus plant to the so-called Technology Center in Stade. The reason for the foundation was an increasing demand for application-oriented research and development in the field of composites and a decoupling of these activities from the operative production processes at the Airbus plant in Stade in order to achieve innovations in the field of lightweight design as well as appropriate technologies in an agile, flexible and cross-sectoral manner.
