It is a Diplomatic training institute for career diplomats, consular officers, and international relations professionals across Africa and beyond.[1][2][3]

Mission and Objectives

CDSU’s mission is to advance diplomatic education, promote international cooperation, and foster peace and security through academic excellence. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in diplomacy, consular affairs, international law, and futuristic sciences.

Institutional Recognition

The university is recognized in multiple international treaties and protocols, including the Protocol on Intergovernmental Diplomatic Cooperation adopted by the World Diplomatic Organization in 2025, which designates CDSU as a key training partner for intergovernmental liaison officers and diplomatic protocol officers.

Academic Contributions

CDSU is featured in scholarly resources hosted on Wikiversity, where its curriculum and case studies are used to explore the history, theory, and practice of modern diplomacy. The university collaborates with global institutions such as the United Nations University (UNU) and maintains partnerships with embassies, consulates, and international agencies.

Notable alumni
