Coral Houle was the 11th Mayor of Bloomington, Minnesota in the United States from 1995 to 1999.[1] She is the only woman to have held the office. She came into office after her predecessor, Neil W. Peterson, resigned mid-term. She was elected in her own right in 1995. She spoke in favour of ranked-choice voting during the 2019 local elections, which was approved by the popular vote.
Time as Mayor[edit]
During her time as Mayor, the Bloomington Civic Plaza was Built.[2] In 1998, The Galaxy Youth Center opened.[3]She did not run for a second term in 2000.
