Tim Busse is an American politician, currently the 13th mayor of Bloomington, Minnesota since 2020.[1] He is a member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL). He previously served on the city council from 2011 to 2019.[2] In 2012, he was put on the board of directors of the Bloomington chamber of commerce. While running for mayor, the incumbent mayor Gene Winstead, not running in the election, endorsed him.[3] His main concern is the construction of affordable housing. He is also working on the construction of a new veteran's memorial near the city hall.[4]

Tim Busse is a graduate of the University of Minnesota. He also attended St.Cloud University from 1983 to 1989.[5]
