Corey James La Barrie
Corey James La Barrie (born 10 May 1995) was an Australian YouTube Personality.[1][2] La Barrie was known for posting humorous videos including, challenges and mimic comedies on his self-titled YouTube channel, which earned more than 300,000 subscribers.[3][4][5][6]
La Barrie died in a tragic car accident on his 25th birthday in 2020.[7][8][9]

La Barrie launched his first personal YouTube channel in 2014, not using it until 2016 when he uploaded his first video. Previously, he starred in some of the YouTube videos made by his neighborhood friends making appearances on Kian Lawley and Sam Pottorff channels. Within a year of creating his YouTube channel, he gained over 100,000 followers.[10] In 2017 he received his first YouTube Creator Award for 100,000 subscribers.[11]
In addition to his self-titled channel, La Barrie also launched a YouTube page called Labarrie Brothers, which followed himself and his brother Jarrad La Barrie as they documented themselves participating in hilarious challenges.[12] La Barrie also started a YouTube channel with his college roommate and friend Crawford Collins in 2019, which they named Corey & Crawford.[13][14][15]
Death[edit]
La Barrie was killed in a car crash on his 25th birthday.[16] The incident occurred on the evening of May 10, 2020, on Hudson Street in Los Angeles La Barrie was a passenger in the McLaren sports car that was traveling at a very high speed when it collided with a stop sign and tree.[17]
Last Youtube video[edit]
On 9 May 2020, La Barrie posted a vlog, which he titled "Deleting This Video in 24 Hours..." during which he told viewers he would be live-streaming his birthday festivities on Twitch.[18] On 10 May, La Barrie posted videos of himself celebrating his big day on his Instagram Stories.[19][20]
