Cornelius Mwangi is a Kenyan centre back currently in the ranks of Kenyan National Super League side Nairobi City Stars from July 2019.
Mwangi is a former St. Joseph's player who turned out for Nakuru AllStars in the 2011 season before[1] joining Zoo Kericho F.C. the next year for six months.[2] Another six months detour to Finlay's Horticulture prepared him for a big move to Mathare United at the start of 2013.[3][4][5][6]
He return again to Mathare in early 2015[7][8] after a trip back to St. Joseph's and in 2018 he joined coastal side Modern Coast Rangers[9][10] where he later became the team captain. After two seasons, he opted to join Kawangware based Nairobi City Stars to be closer to his family in Nakuru.[11][12][13]
