History[edit]
Corporate Visions was founded in 1986 by Chuck Laughlin and Karen Sage - authors of the book Samurai Selling.[2] In March, 2008, Joe Terry was named the CEO of the company.[3] Later on in November, 2017, Erik Peterson was named the CEO.[4]
Milestones[edit]
- August, 2008: Corporate Visions acquires CMM Group, naming CMM Group’s founder Tim Riesterer Chief Strategy Officer.[5]
- January, 2009: Corporate Visions acquires G2G Sales Communications.[6]
- July, 2010: Hammond, Kennedy, Whitney & Company, Inc. (HKW) acquires Corporate Visions.[7]
- March, 2011: Corporate Visions launches the Power Foundation, supporting community giving and employee participation.[8]
- April, 2013: Corporate Visions acquires Baygroup International, a sales negotiation and sales execution skills training company.[9]
- November, 2013: Corporate Visions acquires Executive Conversation, Inc., an award-winning business and financial acumen sales training company.[10]
- June, 2014: Corporate Visions acquires Launch International, Inc., a marketing and sales enablement content agency.[11]
- June, 2015: Sentinel Capital Partners purchases Corporate Visions from Hammond, Kennedy, Whitney & Company, Inc.[12]
- October, 2019: Corporate Visions acquires Memzy, naming cognitive neuroscientist and Memzy founder Dr. Carmen Simon Chief Science Officer.[13]
- December, 2020: Corporate Visions launches B2B DecisionLabs, a dedicated research and advisory firm.[14]
- August, 2021: The Riverside Co. purchases Corporate Visions from Sentinel Capital Partners.[15]
- November, 2021: Corporate Visions Acquires AA-ISP,[16] and names B2B DecisionLabs the official research and advisory partner for the community.[17]
