Corrine Morgan-Thomas is President of the Miracle Run Foundation for Autism, which raises funds for the medical needs of families with autistic children and promotes awareness. She has founded a support group to provide information, networking, and emotional aid to autistic children and adults, and their families. Its mission is to help children and adults with special needs reach their full potential, directing families and associates to reach positive goals with creativity.

Together with Gary Brozek, Morgan-Thomas published "Miracle Run, Watching My Autistic Sons Grow Up" (ISBN 9780425225820). In 2004, Lifetime made a television movie, "Miracle Run", based on Morgan-Thomas' book about her autistic sons’ lives. This movie depicts the social stigma and discrimination of autistic children, present in school districts and society when people attempt to render them invisible. Morgan-Thomas' life changes drastically when she learns that her fraternal twin sons, Stephen and Philip, are autistic. When their father does not want to deal with the autism, Morgan-Thomas decides to leave him. She wants her sons to be treated like any other child, and manages to keep the boys out of institutions. Eventually, when they set their hearts to succeed, they reach their goals.

Stephen and Phillip have graduated to face adult autism. From their diagnosis to the present day, they have grown into young men leading happy lives. Together with Morgan-Thomas, they speak to many groups in the autism community.
