Cosmic Race is a racing game developed for the PlayStation by the now defunct Japanese company Neorex. The game was released in 1995 in Japan only. Cosmic Race is the only game produced by Neorex.
The game is notorious for being one of the worst video games of all time. Criticisms of the game include the strange controls (the player must press the R1 button to move forward), the poor graphics that were taken from the PlayStation developer's kit, and the poor collision detection.
The video game magazine Game Players gave the game a score of 0% and even went so far as to name the 0% rating after the game, simply calling it "Cosmic Race".
