Cosmos is a blockchain platform aimed at interoperability between blockchains and is led by All in Bits Inc (Tendermint). The network that allows different blockchains to communicate with each other through a decentralized mechanism is described as the "Internet of Blockchains.[1][2]It uses the Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS), which applies the Proof of Stake (PoS) mechanism to the consensus algorithm.[3][4]

The Cosmos main blockchain is called "Cosmos Hub" and its codename is "Gaia". It serves as the central ledger for a compatible blockchain called ZONE. ATOM" will be used as the native currency.
The network where each blockchain gathers is called the "Cosmos network. The Cosmos network communicates using the "Inter-Blockchain Communication protocol (IBC)" standard. ATOM is used to pay the fees required for transactions and to reward staking, and ATOM balances can be used to vote on Cosmos Hub operations.[1][2]Cosmos SDK" is a development tool for creating ZONE[5]。
