Parker has worked closely with GFOTY since adopting his current alias, and has produced remixes for artists such as Dorian Electra, Pussy Riot and 100 gecs.

Biography[edit]

Parker began releasing music under the Off Me Nut label in 2014 as Daddy Long Legs and as a member of the duo City Guys alongside Spongebob Squarewave. His debut single "Intergalactic Lover" was released physically under Central Processing Unit in 2016 on 7" vinyl.[2]

In 2018, Parker released a remix of GFOTY's "Drown Her" on the PC Music label as part of the GFOTYBUCKS: REDCUPS EP.[3] Later that year, he released his first single under the new alias Count Baldor, titled "Yeeet".

Parker produced the entirety of GFOTY's If You Think I'm A Bitch, You Should Meet GFOTY EP released in 2019, including the lead single "Boy Next Door", in which he starred in the music video of.[4] In November that year, he made an appearance on Illegal Data's Illegal Data #1, releasing the track "Violent Chain" as part of the compilation.[5]

In 2020, Parker began working with American singer Dorian Electra, remixing their single "Adam & Steve" for the re-release of their debut album Flamboyant.[6] He was also a member of Electra's song-writing and production camp that resulted in the single "Thirsty (For Love)", produced alongside Electra, Clarence Clarity, Dylan Brady and others.[7] Parker was also announced as a co-producer of the song "No 1 Else" for Zebra Katz's debut album LESS IS MOOR, released in March.[8]

In April, he contributed a "donk-filled flip" remix[9] of Alice Longyu Gao's "Rich Bitch Juice" for her remix EP of the same title. Later that month, he was a part of the line-up of 100 gecs's virtual Minecraft music festival Square Garden, performing a set with collaborator GFOTY.[10] Via Instagram,[11] Parker announced that his single "This Is One DJ You Don't Want To Fuck With" would be released at the end of April, alongside its music video directed by Dorian Electra and Weston Allen. The single premiered via Paper magazine the following day.[12]

In May, Parker remixed the song "НОЖ / KNIFE" for Russian group Pussy Riot's EP of the same title.[13] The following week, Dorian Electra's single "Sorry Bro (I Love You)" was released, which featured production from Parker alongside Dylan Brady. The song was a product of Electra's Las Vegas song-writing camp.[14] His remix of 100 gecs's "Stupid Horse" (also featuring GFOTY) was released as a single two days later and will feature on the remix album 100 gecs & The Tree of Clues.[15]

Parker later collaborated with GFOTY on her follow-up EP Ham Chunks and Wine, producing two tracks including "Rid of All", on which he features.[16] The EP was released via Kitty's label Pretty Wavvy.[17] A music video for "Rid of All" was due to premiere the following week, however was delayed to July.[18][19]

In June, Count Baldor guested an episode of BBC Radio 1's show Diplo and Friends, premiering new music including a song with Kitten's Chloe Chaidez.[20] In August, Count Baldor produced Dorian Electra's double single "Gentleman" and "M'Lady" alongside Dylan Brady on the former and Clarence Clarity and Umru on the latter, respectively.[21] Later in 2020, Count Baldor released remixes of "Tainted" by Cowgirl Clue, "Taco Bell" by That Kid and "Give Great Things" by Dorian Electra, the latter of which premiered at A. G. Cook's livestream event Appleville.[22]
