County University Soccer Stadium is a soccer-specific stadium located in Spartanburg, South Carolina. It was opened in 2001, and is home to the USC Upstate men's and women's soccer teams.[1]
The stadium has a capacity of 3,000.[2]
History[edit]
The first ever game played at the stadium was on August 26, 2001, as USC Upstate defeated Colorado School of Mines 2-1.[3]
The first women's game was also on August 26 2001, when USC Upstate's women's team played South Carolina in an exhibition
The stadium hosted games in the NCAA Tournament in 2002 and 2003.[1]
