Craig Bearss (born October 18, 1984) is a former Canadian football running back. He went undrafted in the 2009 CFL Draft. He played CIS football for the Ottawa Gee-Gees.
Early years[edit]
Bearss attended Regiopolis-Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School, where he was a 3-year team captain and a Kingston Area Secondary School Athletic Association all-star in 2001 and 2002. He also played in the amateur Northern Football Conference, where he was awarded the Leo Troy Award as the 2004 rookie of the year.
Bearss was team captain of the 2008 CIS East West Bowl.
Coaching[edit]
After his playing days Bearss was asked to stay on as the runningbacks coach from 2010-2011. He is currently on staff with the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds as a runningbacks coach and offensive assistant.
