Craig Before the Creek is an upcoming made-for-television prequel film based on Craig of the Creek. It was first announced on January 19, 2022, along with Season 5 of Craig of the Creek and a spinoff series called Jessica's Big Little World. The movie was called Craig of the Creek: The Movie until November 15, 2023, when the trailer of the movie was released, also showing the movie was revealed to be Craig Before the Creek. When it was announced that Craig of the Creek’s final episode was written, we didn’t get any updates about the movie, but it was still in production. On September 19, 2023, a release window for the movie was revealed, confirming that the movie was releasing sometime in 2023. On November 15, 2023, the trailer of the movie was released on the Cartoon Network Facebook page and on the WB Kids YouTube channel.
Synopsis
Craig Williams is the shy, new kid in town, longing for his old home and life. Little does he know, he’ll soon set off on the biggest adventure he could ever dream of. Treasure maps, pirate ships, and a villain who wants to destroy the Creek are just the beginning in this treasure-hunting epic.
