Creak
Creak is a crafty threat that you can encounter in The Stairwell
Method
Creak will attempt to snap your neck whilst not getting caught doing so, whenever you see Creak, Creak will start to back up and get out of your vision so that Creak can try again. Creak will slowly put his arms around your neck when getting too close, looking at them will make Creak enraged and Creak will attack faster and insta-shot. If you don't look at Creak during this time frame, Creak will attack you and do 30 damage, which is why it's recommended to run forwards without looking at Creak.
Strategy
Most professional players will try to look at Creak whenever they can, since Creak has a similar mechanic to a weeping angel, except Creak backs up. When Creak gets too close to players, most professionals will try to run forwards before they see Creak's hand wrap around them, as this gives them a head start. If you are trying to attempt the Emancipation Customization badge, it is recommended to approach Creak and corner Creak in a corner before putting the hat on Creak.
Information
Creak takes around 5 seconds to end players once he starts to wrap his hand around your screen, giving you just enough time to run away from Creak. Hiding from Creak in a closet is another strat whenever he wraps his hand around your screen. Whenever you pull a fire alarm, Creak will be gone for until you leave your current landing, so it is recommended to burn Creak if you are attempting Storage Wars. If you lure Creak into a Crusher, the Crusher will crush Creak, breaking Creak.
