Storage Wars is an achievement you can obtain in The Stairwell
Obtainment
Storage Wars is obtained by collecting 300 Depot Items and placing them in a Shopping Cart. You must bring the shopping cart to Cobbler and bargain a price with him for the items that you have collected. The item prices are as follows
- Broken Lamp - 5$
- Pack of Gween Soda - 20$
- Gas Tank - (Depends on Gas Price)
- Broken Computer - 2$
- Large Screw - 10$
- Tophat - 100$
- Bottles - 10¢ per bottle
- Ceramic Stem - 1000$ and grants you the Friend Ball achievement
To gain Storage Wars, you must collect these items and have 3000$ worth of total value. Cobbler also charges taxes of 10%, so to actually gain Storage Wars, you need 3000 dollars worth of value with an additional 334$
Strategy
Most professional players usually have a calculator and a notebook with them whilst attempting Storage Wars, since the math is the most difficult part about attempting this badge, and one miscalculation can cost you your entire badge. Professional players also burn all Meld landings before collecting items, since burning landings can disable Creak and Noise. For landings that don't have Meld, professionals will try and force Creak and Noise into Crushers, since Crushers can disable these entities as well. Looting within containers isn't recommended, since you can find Stems in containers and they can deal damage to you. It is also recommended to bring the CD-1 to the Stairwell and insert it into Noise's TV, since Ransom will be able to spawn after you deal with Hijack, and Honey Pots can give you 500$ each.
Information
Before the Access Granted Update, to obtain Storage Wars, you had to throw 1000$ into the depot, making Ransom very useful, since back then, Ceramic Stems didn't exist so players were forced to use cheaper items, since Honey Pots give you 500$ each. Crushers also didn't exist back then, so it was recommended to skip landings without Meld. It is recommended to toss Shopping carts into Crushers, since compacting items can allow more items to fit onto a singular Shopping Cart. It is possible to bring your items back to the Stairwell using the loop so you can technically get an infinite amount of money.
