CreativeChaos vmg is a Brooklyn based, finance and production company for documentaries, television and feature films.[1] It was founded in 2010 by Tom Donahue, Ilan Arboleda and Steve Edwards. [2]
Donahue and Arboleda have backgrounds in the film industry while Edwards has a history in finance.[2] Donahue serves as the director and editor of many CreativeChaos films.[3]
CreativeChaos's breakout film, Casting By, spoke on the unsung heroes of the entertainment industry, casting directors.[4] In 2015, the Emmys unanimously awarded the film’s subject, Marion Dougherty, a lifetime achievement award.[5] Their next film, Thank You for Your Service, directed attention towards the military's failure to provide proper mental health care for their members.[6] Legislation based on the film will be proposed in Congress in 2018.[7]
The company’s latest film, This Changes Everything, follows women’s struggle to find footing in the sexist film industry, will premiere at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival[8].
