Cricket was played only once at olympics events and that was in 1900 summer olympics with only one contest between Great Britain and France.Great Britain was the winner and gold medalist.
"CRICKET AT COMMONWEALTH GAMES"
Cricket was played at commonwealth games only once at 1998 edition of the event held in Malaysia.
South Africa was the gold medalist.
"CRICKET AT ASIAN GAMES"
Cricket was played at Asian games in 2010 and 2014 edition of the event with Bangladesh and Srilanka winning the gold medals respectively.Cricket was not included in the 2018 edition of event held in Jakarta.
However it is announced that cricket will be a event at 2022 event in China.The decision was taken by Asia's olympic council.There are chances that the sports will be featuring the 20 overs format.The cricketing nations of asia with test status will participate alongside some associate nations with India's participation still a question mark having missed out on 2010 and 2014 editions.
