Rashid Alleem Premier League is a corporate cricket tournament started by H.E Dr. Rashid Alleem in 2016. It started with 16 teams but now has around 70 corporate cricket teams. The venue of the tournament varies from Al Dhaid Cricket village, Skyline Ground to Ajman Oval with the Quarter finals, Semi Finals and Finals taking place at the Sharjah International Cricket Stadium . It has completed 5 seasons so far.
It follows the twenty20 cricket format with professional umpires and is a registered tournament under the Sharjah Cricket Council.
in 2020, the team Gulf International won the championship title[1] of Season 5, battling among 72 other corporate teams. Due to the sheer amount of teams participating, RPL is considered to be the biggest corporate tournament in GCC [2]
