Cromerty York (born Cromerty York; January 1, 1980) is an established[1] United Kingdom/Australian Voiceover from Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, UK. Over her fifteen years as a voice artist, Cromerty has worked on a multitude of Reality Television, Television advertisements, Radio ads, Elearning and Animation. She has lived in Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Australia, Switzerland, the USA and is now resident in North Yorkshire, UK. She speaks fluent German, French, Spanish, and signs AUSLAN, having trained as an interpreter in Perth, Western Australia. She is currently learning the Welsh language.

Early life and education

Cromerty was born in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and attended high school at St Thomas More Catholic Academy in Longton, Staffordshire. She studied at Staffordshire University where she achieved degrees in IT and German.[2]

Career

Cromerty began her career in Minnesota, appearing in her first TV advert for Ralston Purina as a rabbit, in 2005. Cromerty also gained exposure appearing in the films Surveyor[3] and Triangulation[4], and the YouTube series Reality House[5]
