Cross is an american action thriller television series, based on characters from the novels by James Patterson. The series was created by Ben Watkins who serves as an executive producer alongside James Patterson, Bill Robinson, and Patrick Santa, among others. Aldis Hodge also stars in the series as the title character, making him the third actor to portray the character after Morgan Freeman and Tyler Perry from the film series. The series will be produced from Paramount Television Studios, Skydance Television and James Patterson Entertainment while distributed and released on Amazon Prime Video.

Production[edit]
In January 2020, an series based on the books is in the works from Amazon Studios.[4] On October 2022, Black Adam star Aldis Hodge was casted as the main character of the series.[5] By Novemeber 2022, Ryan Eggold and Isaiah Mustafa have been added in the cast as Ed Ramsey and John Sampson respectively.[6] In December 2022, Alona Tal, Johnny Ray Gill and Eloise Mumford also joined the cast as Kayla Craig, Bobby Trey and Shannon Witmer with Siobhan Murphy joining in a recurring role as Tania Hightower.[7][8]
