Crowd dialog europe

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Crowd Dialog Europe [1] is the European conference on Crowdsourcing, Crowdfunding, and Crowd innovation. One goal of the conference is to promote the exchange between companies, science, and politics on a European level.[2] The different country patrons (representatives of all 28 member states) report on the developments and characteristics in their home countries. The exchange enables the participants to benefit and learn from the possibilities and experiences of those in the other countries. The Crowd Dialog Europe is set up as a roadshow, which takes place in different venues in different countries.[3] The event is organized by Dr. Michael Gebert. The European commission is a supporting partner.

History[edit]

Crowd dialogue for the German-speaking countries has taken place in Munich since 2013. The main topics are the same as those of the Crowd dialogue Europe: Crowd sourcing, Crowdfunding and Crowd innovation. The focus for both conferences is medium-sized companies (SME's). In 2015, the Crowd dialogue Europe evolved from the German event and took place for the first time in Helsinki, Finland.[4] In 2016 the conference will be held in Graz, Austria on September 8th.
